WHISPERS IN MY SOUL
Angel -
Don’t you ever lose this poem
For it comes loaded like a pregnant cloud
That wishes to burst forth with love.

How plain can a prairie be
Without flowers?

How stale will a waters be
Without motion?

How meaningless would my life have been
Without love
And without you in it?

Exotic bird - My soul is brimming with feelings
That can barely be expressed in words
And it consumes me in your fiery flames
When you’re around to keep me company.

When you’re gone
Will you stop to think of the rainbow
That suddenly vanishes from the sky?
The morning without the chirps of the birds?
Or the beautiful and lofty dream
That quickly ends?

Do not leave me for too long
My other half
For I will miss you much.

Beyond the horizon that separates us
You’ll always be with me.
In my dreams and in my wake
You’ll be my distant companion.

I pray the day returns quickly
When our souls will unite
And the sonnet to our union
Will be chanted by the fairies
Who swing in the Light!
